About Dr. Keith Heck

Dr. Keith Heck, DO, is an experienced Sports Medicine physician who specializes in the nonoperative care of musculoskeletal injuries, sports-related concussions and Platelet Rich Plasma injections at Commonwealth Orthopaedic Associates in Reading, Pennsylvania. Along with Dr. Marr and Dr. Martin, he serves as a Team Physician for the Reading Fightin Phils. Additionally, he serves as a Team Physician for Conrad Weiser, Muhlenberg and Boyertown High Schools.

Dr. Heck received his Bachelor’s Degree from Philadelphia University where he graduated Cum Laude, and was a four year starter for the University's baseball team. He later attended medical school at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Heck completed his Family Medicine residency at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, and his Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at Crozer-Keystone Health System. Here he assisted in the care of the Philadelphia Union professional soccer team and University of Delaware athletes.

Dr. Heck is certified by the American Board of Family Physicians, with further certification in Sports Medicine. He is affiliated with Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center, Tower Health Reading Hospital, and the Surgical Institute of Reading. In addition, Dr. Heck is a member of The American College of Sports Medicine, The American Academy of Family Physicians, and The American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.

Dr. Heck is an avid Philadelphian and passionate fan of the Eagles, Flyers, Sixers and Phillies. He enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and dog, Koby. Dr. Heck prides himself on an excellent patient experience and the continued pursuit of perfecting his craft
